2024 Summer Student Carpentry Program
The Summer Student Carpentry Program has come to an end. 4 Sheds were completed. 2 for HAAMB. And 2 for Bruce Power who kindly donated materials for the continued learning of skills over the summer months. The students received safety training, Safety equipment and hands on experience with Power tools, blueprint reading and the construction of the sheds. Congratulations to all and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
All 4 sheds are to be in a draw at a later date. The 1st round will be for the HAAMB built sheds coming soon. After Oct 15th, the Bruce Power donated sheds will be drawn. To all who have entered and entering in the near future. Good Luck.
To enter into the Draw. You must be a community member from Nawash or Saugeen, 15 yrs of age and older and complete an LMI survey. The QR code on the poster can be used to get to the Survey.

2024-25 IAFNIYES/Skills Link programming, by Special Projects Coordinator.
HAAMB was approved by Indigenous Services Canada to deliver the IAFNIYES/Skills Links, Second Chance Program for youth clients on Ontario Works. The program is designed to assist Indigenous youth from Saugeen and Chippewas of Nawash First Nations to transition from training to full-time employment. A host of safety programs will be offered and pre employment certificate programs such as WHMIS, Food Handlers, Dress for Success, Career Development, etc. Watch for postings coming soon to apply to the program.
