Anyone! While we are an Indigenous-led organization, our services through Employment Ontario are open to everyone, regardless of background or status. If you’re looking for work, training, or support in your career journey—we’re here to help.

  1. What services do you offer?

We offer a wide range of free employment and training services, including:

  • Resume and cover letter support
  • Job search assistance
  • Interview preparation
  • Skills training and career planning
  • Help accessing education or apprenticeships
  • Referrals to other community resources
  • Employer services like job postings and candidate matching
  1. Do I need an appointment to speak with someone?

We welcome walk-ins, but booking an appointment ensures you’ll get the time and attention you need without waiting. Feel free to call, email, or drop by to schedule a time that works for you.

  1. Do you only work with Indigenous clients?

No, we serve everyone. While our organization is rooted in supporting Indigenous communities, Employment Ontario services are for all individuals seeking support with employment or training goals.

  1. Is there a cost for your services?

Nope—our services are 100% free, thanks to funding from Employment Ontario and the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.

  1. Can you help me go back to school or retrain for a new career?

Yes! We can help you explore training programs, upgrade your skills, and even apply for funding support through Better Jobs Ontario or other training incentives.

  1. I’m an employer—can you help me too?

Absolutely! We assist local employers with:

  • Free job postings
  • Pre-screened candidates
  • Wage subsidy programs
  • Training supports for new hires
  • Workforce planning
  1. What should I bring to my first appointment?

It helps to bring:

  • Your resume (if you have one)
  • A list of your past work experience or skills
  • ID and/or Social Insurance Number (for certain programs)
  • Any documents related to your job search or training goals

But don’t worry if you don’t have everything—we’ll help you get started either way.
